Fieseler Fi 156 |
The "Fieseler Storch" was the most known german reconnaissance plane
during world war II. The plane needed very short ways for take off and landing.
Teh first of five prototypes started at the beginning of 1936. The 0-serie
with ten Fi 156 A-0 was followed by the series production of the Fi 156 A-1.
Herewith a production programm began which ended with 2.900 planes produced.
The A-serie was followed by the C-serie because the B-serie for civil purposes
was scratched due shortenage of capacities. The C-1 version was for connceting purposes, the C-2 for reconnaissance and the C-3 a multiple use version.
